Cecil Ince (b. December 29, 1975) was a 2014 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the Greene County Commission Representing the 2nd District receiver over 20% of the vote in a two-way race against Republican Lincoln Hough. to the U.S. House to represent the 3rd Congressional District of Texas. In 2010, Ince unsuccessfully ran for election to the Texas House of Representatives. He was defeated by Republican incumbent Linda Harper-Brown. In 2000, he joined the Libertarian party and has run in multiple elections. In 2002, he unsuccessfully ran for the Missouri Legislature representing the 137th District. He tried his hand at Missouri politics in 2004, running as a Libertarian for Missouri Secretary of State. He was defeated by Robin Carnahan (R). In addition to his own campaigns, Ince has participated in other forms of political advocacy. He worked with elected officials to pass the Dominic James Memorial Foster Care Reform Act of 2004. In 2008, he received an associate degree in applied arts with a concentration in acting performance from KD College, a subsidiary of KD Studio, Inc. In 2016, Cecil promoted the cause of Libertarian Election Judges, he registered to serve as a Poll Worker during the 2016 election. By encouraging Libertarians to serve as election judges, approximately 5 libertarians served as libertarian Poll Workers during the 2016 and 2017 elections.
